Proposed merge with Taping[edit]

The Athletic taping article is the more complete. DGG ( talk ) 05:31, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I merged taping with athletic taping. Either title could be used, but it seemed obvious to me that both articles contained content which was about the same thing. I put all information from taping into this article.
The title could be changed, but I think it is not controversial to say that there should only be one article for this content. Blue Rasberry (talk) 15:54, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adding more specific type of tapes that are used for athletic taping and common materials used. Niphapone Chisouvanh (talk) 16:58, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review[edit]

The set up and writing on this topic is done very well.

Invalid references[edit]

I checked the references that support the claim in the Advantages section "Athletic taping is recognized as one of the top preventative measures for reduction of injuries in collision sports". I have several issues with these references of which these two are the most serious:

1. None of these references actually support the claim. Some of them actually counter the claim. 2. None of these references are publicly available

If no better references are available I'll remove them and rephrase the sentence to make it less strong.
