Date of the event[edit]

The Official Report (SportsReference either) says, the event was held on October 18th (not 14th). Article corrected. --OlympicLegends (talk) 22:56, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tied ranking[edit]

There was only one tied ranking (22). Alsop (GBR) and Shinnick (USA) made 7.26 m at the first attempt, then they failed two times. All the other (i.e. 2 and 3, 10 to 12) were not tied. The best secont attempt was the crucial point. List correctet and the missing US-athlete Phillip Shinnick filled in. --OlympicLegends (talk) 23:45, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
