Untitled[edit]

While full of valid information, this article seems to only focus on the screening aspects of Audiology. The field incorporates many other aspects such as hearing aid dispensing and fitting, aural rehabilitation, hearing loss prevention, etc. These sections are lacking in details. For example, many protocols depend on state regulations in addition to ASHA and criteria. The screening section is distracting from the rest of the article since it is so detail heavy.

The ethics section does not address any of the criteria set forth by the American Audiological Association (AAA) or American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Ethics should cover all aspects of the field, not just the school based hearing screenings. If other countries have different recommendations/ethical standards, these should be cited in addition to the AAA/ASHA as a contrast.

There is no data to back up the claims/reports of the pricing and success of over-the-counter hearing aids in Hong-Kong and other developed cities. More details and possibly another section should be added to address the implementation/availability/success of over the counter hearing aids. Katies268 (talk) 05:29, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
