Motto

Is "Let's go Peay" really the school's motto? Sounds more like a sports cheer than a school motto. Shouldn't it be "Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth" or some other similar BS? Anyone know? I do admit, though, that that would be a fantastic motto if the school chose to adopt it as such. It would look great on an official seal. - Jersyko talk 22:25, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, I e-mailed them yesterday asking what their motto was, and they replied with a single link to the school cheers/chants page -- with "Let's go Peay" and nothing else that applied. I agree with you, though. Their seal doesn't have a motto on it, and I can't find a motto anywhere else. Oh well. I didn't even notice it had "Let's go Peay" as the motto -- and I'm rather undecided about changing it. Faerielight 01:56, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
AFAIK, there is no official motto and "Let's go Peay!" is just a cheer. It doesn't really belong in the infobox IMO, but as it was my mother who went there, not me, I'm not going to change it in absence of consensus to do so. Rlquall 23:29, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
It's not their motto, it's officially listed as their battle cry. So, I think it's safe to remove without consensus since it is factually incorrect.

Blount and Harvill Halls evacuated?

I heard that APSU just discovered some sort of mold inside of Blount and Harvill halls, resulting in those residents having to be moved to nearby hotels? Can anyone confirm this? I have a friend that goes there.

This happened, but it's all fixed now. Rlquall 23:29, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Recently mold has hit Hand Village as well. I personally know someone that has moved out temporarily. -- Riffsyphon1024 04:29, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Cheerleading

I think the kids should join the teenagers and adults doing cheerleading and gymnastics. Zaneisha (talk) 02:26, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

Contadiction among articles

The article Austin Peay states that the University was named for Peay after his death, where this one says it was during his third term. Probably should get these in sync. one way or the other.

Say "Let's go peay"! Zaneisha (talk) 02:25, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
