Review[edit]

1. Well-written?

I caught a few typos and strangely-phrased sentences, but they were the exception. I recommend going ahead with your copy-editing plan. The article complies with the Manual of Style.

2. Factually accurate and verifiable?

Complete reference section, plenty of inline citations, no original research.

3. Broad in coverage?

Main aspects are addressed. The article managed to address all aspects of the topic while still remaining concise.

4. Neutral?

Neutral.

5. Stable?

I didn't see anything to indicate that the article is experiencing any volatility.

6. Images?

I wish there were more, but I understand the difficulty with a topic that is inevitably under copyright lock-and-key. The images used are tagged with appropriate fair use rationales. Captions are fine. Merpin (talk) 19:39, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notes[edit]

Before I decide, could someone please answer this question:

Is that to-do list up there on the right is current? What's been done, what still needs to be done, etc.? And please feel free to address anything in the above review.

Thanks! Merpin (talk) 19:42, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That to do list hasn't been updated since June, so I assume it is way outdated. Removed, and I await the review. NuclearWarfare (Talk) 19:50, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks for replying. I'm going to approve this article for GA status. It seems to cover the full scope of the Avatar universe, with plenty of links to subtopics for clarification. The citations look fine. I still recommend getting a good copy-edit and if at all possible finding a few more pictures (though I understand the difficulty). This article is full and comprehensive. Good luck with future edits! Merpin (talk) 20:10, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
