Name disambiguation[edit]

In the section BBC Sessions (Rory Gallagher album)#In Concert, the trio of links Porter, Hayes and Hodges each need disambiguation. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 00:57, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I checked all three links and they work now. Mdebellis (talk) 22:49, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Background text needs reference[edit]

Currently the article says "Gallagher considered these broadcasts a test to see how much a band would deviate from their recordings. To an artist who opposed releasing singles, the sessions collected here on this compilation proved invaluable in allowing his music to reach new fans." All of that sounds pretty reasonable, it sounds like the kind of thing Gallagher would say and I get the point about how the BBC sessions helped him get radio air play. But I don't recall seeing that anywhere and I've read most of the major sources about him. If I can't find something to back that up I plan to take it out. I found the ref for this, its from the liner notes and refers to young Gallagher which wasn't clear to me from the way the article was written previously, I updated accordingly. Mdebellis (talk) 21:28, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
