User FunkMonk suggests to merge the 2012 sectarian clashes in Lebanon into this article. Users are welcome to express their opinion on the issue and whether they support or oppose.Greyshark09 (talk) 21:11, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and merged them, no objections raised and seven days went. FunkMonk (talk) 17:28, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well done, i merged the talk page as well. Sorry for the procedural insistance (my stance was neutral here) - i tend to be too beurocratic sometimes.Greyshark09 (talk) 20:46, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I can understand you might had been suspicious, this is a very obscure conflict after all, I probably wouldn't had started an article on it otherwise. FunkMonk (talk) 07:58, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Concise title[edit]

What could be a more concise title? North Lebanon or Tripoli clashes is too vague for example, since there have been many other conflicts in the North than this one. FunkMonk (talk) 21:50, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Split[edit]

The article is now expanding into incidents not related to the neighbourhoods in Tripoli, this conflict is spreading to the rest of the country, so perhaps we should have a more general "2012 unrest in Lebanon" article or some such. FunkMonk (talk) 12:11, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
