  • Grabbing this for a review. Aoba47 (talk) 16:28, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Lead and infobox
  • I would include in the first sentence of the first paragraph that this song features a guest appearance from Chance the Rapper rather than putting it in the second sentence.
  • I would trim down “Vice Records” to just “Vice”.
  • This part (It was co-written by both artists, along with Zane Lowe, who co-wrote the chorus,) is rather awkwardly phrased given the repetition of the word “co-write” in such a close proximity.
*For this part (pays homage to the 1988 Eddie Murphy comedy Coming to America.), I would remove “Eddie Murphy” and clarify that it is a film in the prose.
Background and development
  • Please use Action Bronson’s full name when you first reference him in the body of the article and link.
  • For this sentence (It acts as a closer to a three-part suite set by "City Boy Blues" and "A Light in the Addict" that was preluded by the album's interlude, "Thug Love Story 2017 The Musical", where an elderly man laments about a former love leaving the streets.), I would turn the final part (i.e. where an elderly man laments about a former love leaving the streets.) into its own sentence.
  • Include the year in which "Deja Vu (Uptown Baby)" was released.
  • The genre of the song (i.e. hip hop) is not linked or referenced in the body of the article. You will need a reference to support this or it will have to be removed.
Critical reception
  • Move the image to the left to avoid having the subject look off the page.
  • Please provide ALT text for the image.
  • PopMatters should be in italics. The same comments applies for Consequence of Sound.
Music video
  • For this part (Eddie Murphy's 1988 comedy Coming to America), remove “Eddie Murphy’s”. He did not direct the film so it is odd to reference it in that way. Also make it clear in the prose that it is a film.
Live performances
  • For this part (On April 21, he made an), since you reference multiple people in the last sentence, specify who you mean by “he”.
Charts and certification
  • You will need to include the information about the chart placement in the prose of the body of the article.
Final comments
  • Good work with this. Once my comments are addressed, I will pass this. Aoba47 (talk) 19:16, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I think I've fixed it up to where it's up to GA standards. DepressedPer (talk) 08:13, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Verdict
  • Thank you for addressing everything. I will  Pass this. Aoba47 (talk) 15:09, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
