I removed the following paragraph, as it appears to be original research. It shouldn't be put back unless sources are found for this: "Strangely, plans to murder characters made within the Bing are generally cancelled or otherwise fail, especially compared with Tony's other main office, Satriale's. Characters (particularly Tony) are seemingly inclined to be more forgiving while within the Bing's walls. It is possible that there is a deliberate symbolism to this disparity, given that business of the Bing could be considered representative of fertility, as opposed to the death of Satriale's Pork Store". --Xyzzyplugh 14:01, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i took out the part saying named for catchphrase "bada bing", a phrase in use since the 1930's[citation needed]. and added that the name comes from the godfather. Im sure it was invented by James Caan during a sceen with michael. "You know this isnt like the army where you shoot them from a mile away, you gotta get in and Bada Bing you get their brains all over your nice ivy league suit." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.236.56.6 (talk) 00:17, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology[edit]

Doesn't originate from The Godfather. The OED has prior usage: "1965 P. COOPER Italian Wedding in Our Hero (transcription of sound recording of comedy routine) (O.E.D. Archive), They never let go the envelopes. Ya gotta pull{em}bada-bing-a-bada-bang-a-bada-bing!" Bueller 007 (talk) 00:33, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
