Centralized TV Episode Discussion[edit]

Over the past months, TV episodes have been redirected by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. Even if you have not, other opinions are needed because this issue is affecting all TV episodes in Wikipedia. --Maniwar (talk) 03:48, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Baile Coisc Aingil?[edit]

Baile Coisc Aingil does not mean "the town of the fallen angel". It is not particularly grammatical Irish, but it would mean "a town where angels are not allowed".

I think the version shown in the program was "Baile cois Aingil", which would mean "a town near an angel". - Panu Petteri Höglund from the Irish Vicipéid. 84.250.53.202 (talk) 11:25, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the first episode of Series 4, "All Bar One", a road sign bearing the name of the town is clearly visible, and reads "Baile Coisc Aingil" in the Irish, and "BALLYKISSANGEL" in the English. (In fact, there are several such signs in the opening scenes, one of which fills the frame.) Not knowing the Irish language, I have no information or comment on the translation of the phrase. Cast tables[edit]

I find the new cast tables incredibly bulky and hard to follow. I personally found the older and much simpler table easier to read and comprehend. Any thoughts?4meter4 (talk) 19:43, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the hyperlink to England. That is really useful! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.156.106.79 (talk) 16:25, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
