Citation[edit]

Most of this article was written with reference to BPI's own handbook, but I am unsure of how to cite this. Does anyone know how to do this?

Merge[edit]

Becides the fact that the article, imo, has the fell of a copyvio. I fail to see the need to spin off the history of the school into a seperate artcile, being that the main article is lacking in content. Comments? --Boothy443 | trácht ar 06:19, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um,, How did you reply before I put the tag on.... merge with Baltimore Manual Training School?--Rayc 22:42, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Alumni[edit]

Wait, why do we need a List of BPI People? As of right now, the alumni list should be inclusive with the school. Wildthing61476 20:46, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Principals[edit]

There seems to be at least one principal missing between King and Ford. I know for a fact that in 1890 the principal was John W. Saville. Does anyone have access to more info about this? Thanks, Golem88991 23:08, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 13 November 2017[edit]

In the section on athletics, there is a paragraph titles Lumsden and Young: 1950s and 1960s In that paragraph are the following sentences: The team's fortunes changed later in the 1960s, when City was coached by George Young. Young guided his teams to six wins over Poly, and an equal number of Maryland Scholastic Association championships. After those two sentences, I would recommend adding this one: An irony is that Mr. Young had previously been a history teacher at Poly.

My source for that suggestion is my personal knowledge. Mr. Young was my World History teacher at Poly in the 1955-56 school year. Because of Mr. Lumsden's long-term success as Poly's coach and the high regard in which he was held, Mr. Young saw no possibility that he might get the coaching position at Poly, so he defected to our rival, City.

My name is Kenneth Rhodes. I am a member of the Poly class of 1959. (I do not see a signature blank on this edit request, so I am signing it here. Perhaps my name is supposed to go after the four tildes, so I will sign it there, as well.) 2601:883:C202:2DE9:E082:EC25:42D4:2F95 (talk) 21:40, 13 November 2017 (UTC)Kenneth Rhodes, Poly Class of 1959[reply]

Do you have a source for this information other than personal knowledge? Unfortunately, something like this would require a source of some kind. (And I say this as a Poly grad of 1993) RickinBaltimore (talk) 21:51, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
