Contested place of birth[edit]

I am in contact with the son of Balu Sankaran, who claims that the place of birth given in this source (and included in the article) is incorrect and should be Channai, not Tuticorin. Although he doesn’t seem to have a verifiable third-party reference, the current source does not seem to be particularly reliable, so I’m going to remove the disputed city of birth, as per WP:BLPREMOVE, and specify only the state, which is not disputed.
