The ward of Clare and Shuttern.[edit]

"Bampton is a major part of the electoral ward of Clare and Shuttern". How did they think up that name for the ward? Usually ward are given names of parishes or settlements within parishes, but I can find no reference to either Clare or Shuttern in Wikipedia and certainly not in your article on Bampton.
