The text lacks the involvement of BCP in Greek, Turkish and Angolan banks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.214.58.109 (talk) 01:28, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article is obviously wrong due to the lousy wording. You cannot write Bank Millennium is BCP's network of branches in Poland. whereas in fact it is a seperate public company, operating in a different country and in terms of a different law, where BCP has a roughly 2/3 stake in. The article needs to be more careful and always recognize a difference between a branch and a strategically controlled company, especially in strictly regulated businesses like banking.

When I find spare time, I'll try to improve the article. aegis maelstrom δ 12:13, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request edit: the financial information on this page is extremely outdated. A summary of the latest data is available from Millennium's website. The number of branches in Portugal is wrong (it's 646 as of the most recent data). The section on "bailout" is wrong as the bank was not bailed out but received state aid in the form of contingent convertible (CoCo) bonds, which has just been paid off. The sections on the Canadian operations and the failed merger are both outdated (from 2007). Someone who is more up to speed on the current situation at the bank should update it.
