http://bplt20.actionboard.net is not the official website for the BPL. It is just a fan forum/blog containing bogus information. All references to this website and any content sourced from this website should be removed or verfied from reputabe sources (eg. The Daily Star, Cricinfo) Rubaisport (talk) 06:46, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

www.bplt20.net is also not the official webportal for the tournament. The official website www.bplt20.com.bd was outdated throughout the second session and the site seems to be down now too.

Since, the link www.bplt20.com.bd is still mentioned on the 2013_Bangladesh_Premier_League page, I am changing the link in this article too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Imehedi (talkcontribs) 17:17, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Match fixing[edit]

I've integrated the match-fixing article, which was an orphan, into here, also tried to make the content encyclopedic rather than gossip. If any editor is unhappy with this please post to my talk page Chrismorey (talk) 20:30, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Defunct Franchises[edit]

Why have the old franchises been deleted from the defunct list? Old team like Chittagong Kings is not the same as Chittagong Vikings. They are different teams with different owners and different history. It is possible for one city to have more than one team. So Sylhet Superstars is not Sylhet Royals with a new name it is a complete different team. Adding the old teams on the defunct list shows the rich history BPL has so please use some sense and stop deleting it. Mauryan313 (talk) 19:01, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As a note, I plan to act on this concern unless anyone has an objection. The old and new franchises need splitting apart and their records being displayed separately. It's a big job as there are tonnes of pages to sort out, but I think it's important to do as the current arrangement where we imagine that they are the same thing seems factually incorrect.
So, any objections? Blue Square Thing (talk) 11:45, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

October 2016[edit]

So, I've been through and pretty much gutted the article just now to avoid a mass of repetition, undue emphasis on certain bits and bobs and some slightly off-piste written English. It needs a tonne of references and probably someone to look over things and make suggestions at least as to what might go in. Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:01, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
