driveby translation/edit - note[edit]

I did not go through the entire article but thought I would note one fairly egregious translation problem I found, not sure if it was man or machine made, but in case someone made it thinking they were doing the right thing, the Pax Romana was followed by a series of invasions, not vice versa. This makes sense if you read through the previous section first, so I suspect machine translation. The word order was also typically diffidently French (ie "it was only after a long period of peace that" vs after a period of peace waves of invaders etc). Not flagging as needing translation cleanup though, since I think most of the people likely to be interested in the article are as well able to interpret it as anyone the flag would likely attract). On the whole it's understandable, but watch out for word order problems like the above Elinruby (talk) 22:43, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
