Merge with Entity-relationship model page[edit]

I was wondering if this page is suitable to be included as a sub-topic in the Entity-relationship model page, in section 3, Alternative diagramming conventions? Perhaps with an example just like the Crow's Foot diagram, but in Barker Notation. There are some subtle and confusing differences between Barker Notation and Crow's Foot/Information Engeneering Notation and it would be nice to see them both in one place.

What does ERD mean?[edit]

A newcomer would have no idea without either a link to the Wikipedia article or at least its full English name first, followed by its abbreviation in parentheses.
