Suggestions for Improvement[edit]

  • There are numerous broken wikilinks in this article. Before inserting a wikilink in an article for a non-existent article for future use, the editor should create a stub article.

That is not practical for a lists of holders of peerages, which inevitably contain many names. They serve a very useful purpose, both as an invitation to create the relevant articles, and because they show up in the whatlinkshere list when an article is created without reference to this page. The editor who created them should not be discouraged, but maybe anyone converned about the redlinks could start by creating some of the stubs? --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 22:34, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John Radcliffe[edit]

John Radcliffe is supposed to marry an older woman (22 years older, but why not), and is supposed so died at the battle of Ferrybridge, when he's... nine. Two different persons ? Sammyday (talk) 12:13, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Amended. He's her son. His father fought at Ferrybridge — but died at Towton, according to the DNB— not him. Still, inconsistencies remain on the page as in some web sources that back them.--Swum Labor (talk) 20:37, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Emblazonment unrelated to coat of arms[edit]

  • The emblazonment below the coat of arms (top right) bears no relationship to the coat, which is "Or, a fess between two chevrons gules" - see WP:Robert_Fitzwalter
