Re: Notability tag[edit]

This discussion regards the placement of a notability tag on July 10, 2008 and the subsequent consideration for article deletion. The following is an explanation regarding why the tag is being removed. One stated rule of thumb regarding notability for musicians and their released recordings is that if the artist is notable, then that artist's albums are also notable. The criteria has been debated and there is no firm consensus on whether a more detailed article must be maintained to avoid deletion.
