Opening narration[edit]

Check out the following book: Vincent Terrace, "Television Introductions: Narrated TV Program Openings since 1949" (to be found on Google Books). In a transcription of the original Battlestar Galactica opening narration, it gives us "Talteks" and "Lumina" (instead of "Lemuria"). Battlestar Galactica was shown in theaters in 1979[edit]

The pilot film for Battlestar Galactica was shown in theaters in Sensaround sound. This really ought to be mentioned in the article. Showing of the pilot in theaters seems to be covered at Saga of a Star World including release info for Canada and the US in July and September 1978 with US re-release after May 1979. Criticism[edit]
