Bawsey sand quarry[edit]

I have been there countless times and taken many photos of the stuff left from its active days under British Industrial Sand. There is also something to be said about its current use as a natural public space (now apparently under control of WBB Minerals), which basically means raves or generally drunk people can be found on it many a night. Surely this sort of thing is worth putting in?

The problem I have is that I have very few independently verifiable 'facts' to include. Everything has been deduced or guessed from the signs littering the site and the remains of the quarry operation.
