Use of the name 'Royal'[edit]

Earlier version of this article has "Following the death of Edward VII, it became illegal to use the Royal name.[1] Thomas Bell therefore decided to merge Bell and Royal into one word", which comes from the companies website. This is a very odd idea. I don't think 'Royal' has never been restricted, indeed the Patent Office continue to register 'Royal' this, that and the other product to this day. Wonder where this came from? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Glynhughes (talkcontribs) 06:05, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This article contradicts entries for both 'flour' and 'Henry Jones' which both state Henry Jones a Bristol baker invented self raising flour in 1845 and not Thomas Bell as in this article. Ive no idea which is right but presumably one must be wrong. Dondilly (talk) 01:18, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
