Beardyman's start[edit]

This page says that Beardy started beatboxing after seeing Rahzel live. While this may be technically true, it makes it sound as though seeing Rahzel got him started. In an interview done on youtube (yes I know youtube references are frowned upon), he was asked what age he started at and he said three. Then when asked if anyone influenced him he mentioned only "the guy from police academy." I'm not sure why Rahzel was mentioned, but it is not true according to Beardy himself. The vid is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnWANe2-QCY&feature=related

Not sure what can be done with this, but possibly just taking out the Rahzel mention.98.215.128.112 (talk) 07:46, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that someone put in the reference to Winslow, but they left in the Rhazel mention when this is still not mentioned by Beardyman. It is unsourced, incorrect and should be removed.98.215.128.112 (talk) 05:01, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube links[edit]

This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed or you would like to help spread this message contact us on this page. Thanks, ---J.S (t|c) 03:45, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Late Late Show[edit]

Hot Press reference for appearance on The Late Late Show, January 8, 2010. --candlewicke 22:17, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vocal Chords?[edit]

"Virtually all of his music is created using only his vocal cords to produce sounds" Rubbish! In common with any beatboxer many of his percussive sounds and a large part of his music is made without use of the vocal chords. Stub Mandrel (talk) 13:02, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
