Northumbrian Dialect[edit]

I'm a bit puzzled by the Northumbrian Dialect version of the poem. I am a proud Northumbrian and (when the drink is in me) speak with an extremely strong accent and, having grown up in Ashington, am very familar with the dialect yet I barely recognise that as Northumbrian and doubt any of my fellow Northumbrians would either. I hate to be negative, but as it does not reflect Northumbrian as it is actually spoken I wonder what its purpose is and would suggest it be removed. 92.5.7.5 (talk) 22:41, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
