IPAs, stouts and Brown Ales[edit]

Just on my personal experience, I am finding a lot of IPAs, stouts and brown ales brewed by the regional Danish breweries. Obviously they are "imported" styles but they are not precisely the same as UK beers of these types (they're often stronger for a start) and they are clearly are a recognised thing to brew in Denmark. Doesn't this deserve a mention? Jim Killock (talk) 20:42, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Mention it! 1Z (talk) 10:21, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of breweries[edit]

@Carewolf, Asartea, Seemplez, and P,TO 19104: Notifying of a discussion at Talk:Beer in Denmark which may be of interest to you. Tammbecktalk 09:58, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An IP editor has repeatedly added numerous non-notable breweries to the list of Danish breweries in this article. I propose that the list be limited to notable breweries with their own article on English Wikipedia.

  • Support. Not certain why I'm getting mentioned here, did I revert some stuff? But it seems like a good proposal to me. Only amendment I would make is that we should perhaps also allow beer companies who got seriously mentioned in an respectable news article. Asartea Talk | Contribs 10:26, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I've notified users who reverted the IP's edits and asked the IP to engage on the talk page. I agree that genuinely notable breweries should be included but none of the citations added establish notability in my opinion. They are nearly all primary sources or dubious blog entries.Tammbecktalk 10:47, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
