The Wizards of Waverly place episode number should be 19, not 20, as correctly stated on the WoWP season 3 episodes page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wizards_of_Waverly_Place_%28season_3%29 ).

Renevanh (talk) 10:28, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Done Thanks for the heads-up. The episode number isn't really necessary, so I've simply removed it and backlinked the episode title to the Wizards of Waverly Place (season 3) page instead since the episode table there doesn't allow direct linking to specific episodes anyway. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 11:36, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Edit request from 184.99.25.71, 11 July 2011

Remove all references to bellathorneonline.com from the article. This link was added by Talk:Bella_Thorne#Edit_request_from_Esepeasodeotto.2C_12_November_2010 based on an assertion by an editor that it was the official fan site. It is a fan site and the fan site itself asserts it is the official fan site. I have found nothing else that confirms this. An other editor at [1] is disputing that assertion and is attempting to change the official fan site [2] to something else. Given no support by any reliable source for either site, this link should be removed. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:29, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

  • User Arsenalrule92 (talk · contribs) has added another site [3] as a purported fansite. The reference given does not say anything about the site being the official site. The reference, a gossip site, is not a reliable source anyway so would be invalid as a reference even if it did support the change. Geraldo Perez (talk) 19:19, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
  • The website http://bellat143.com that user Arsenalrule92 (talk · contribs) is trying to add is also an unofficial fansite, taken from the site's disclaimer section: We are not Bella Thorne, her family, and we don't personally know her although she does follow me on twitter. We are run by random fans in a miserable English country, 11h05m away from LA.. This fansite should not be allowed. El0i (talk) 20:19, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Zendaya turned 15 on September 1st, change any references saying Zendaya is 14 in the article please.

Age was irrelevant anyway so I just removed it. Geraldo Perez (talk)

This is Bella Thorne's wikipidia page.it is not zendaya's page so she is irrelevant other then she is a shake it up co star.Who cares about her age this is BELLA'S PAGE.zendaya is irrelevant hear as I have stated before.User:BellaFan262

Was Bella's father's name Reinaldo as stated on the page?

I was just wondering-on the page it says "Her father, Reinaldo, was of Cuban descent." But on an interview on Bella's fan site (www.bellathorneonline.com) she was asked (about her role on "My Own Worst Enemy)"If you could change Ruthy’s name to anything you, what would you name her?" and Bella replied "Mae after my grandma that died a few months ago or it could be cool to be named after my dad. His name was Delancey but I think that name would be too hard for the show."

Just wondering.BellaFan262 —Preceding undated comment added 16:18, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

In the interview at http://www.latina.com/entertainment/buzz/exclusive-bella-thorne-wants-her-shake-it-character-be-cuban she said ""It would be really cool if she was Latin like my father, Reinaldo," --Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:40, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Ok then. One interview must be wrong or one interviewer deaf.I'm very confused but think it should stay as it is for now until another source tells us otherwise. However I looked at the http://www.latina.com/entertainment/buzz/exclusive-bella-thorne-wants-her-shake-it-character-be-cuban interview i believe that the name of Mr.Thorne was Reinaldo.

His full name was Delancey Reinaldo Thorne or Delancey Rey Thorne. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 19:11, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

Use of press releases and twitter as references

See WP:BLPSPS and the related policies/guidelines on the use of self-published sources. --Ronz (talk) 19:37, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Which basically says it is OK as long as there is no doubt that it really is that person and that person is giving info only about themselves and the info is not unduly self-serving. As a primary source this info must be used without any interpretation. Her twitter account is verified so we know it is hers. Geraldo Perez (talk) 20:15, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
"Unduly self-serving" is the problem. Why's it worth including in the article? --Ronz (talk) 14:48, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
I don't see it as self-serving at all, let alone unduly – it is just census facts about herself that she would know. Unless she tries to obtain some significant benefit from that info, no secondary source is going to fact check beyond verifying that is what she stated. This particular reference supports two of the categories which must have article references to be in the category list. As to why it should be in the article – it is pretty standard that ancestry be in bio articles if known. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:16, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Music career section

Just thinking,we should add one because she has quite a few songs out now. zendaya has give or take the same ammount and she has a Music Career Section.

Just wondering about that.--Bella##Fan##262 (talk) 09:39, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

can you put on Bella Thorne page that she dated Garrett Backstrom from August 2010 to late 2011. Thorne is now dating Tristan Klier from December 2011.

This sort of personal information requires a reliably sourced reference. Without a reliable source this type of information cannot be added to the article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:15, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 24 December 2013

The genre section seriously needs reconstruction. Pop rock needs to be replaced with dance-pop and electropop. None of Bella's songs, whether it was solo or being featured have been in the pop rock genre. Whatever source this is from has their information wrong. Not all sources on the internet are reliable ones. Everyone knows that. We don't need a source to tell us what genre she sings under, we can just listen to it and hear it for ourselves. Please make sure this gets changed. 66.79.195.148 (talk) 07:43, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Not done Yes we absolutely do require a reference and we already have a authoritative one in the article. Please provide a reference that supports your genre additions. Otherwise just looks like personal evaluations. See WP:NOR Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:00, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 24 December 2013

I just checked the source and it says even though that her genre is pop rock (which I still don't get), it does say that her styles are dance-pop and electropop (which are what she really does). Could we add those maybe. I don't think it would be wrong because I'd still be in the source. 66.79.195.148 (talk) 15:25, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Styles are basically sub-genres and we normally try to put the most inclusive genre(s) in the article. I wouldn't have a problem adding some of them but would like to see what others say as genres in articles tends to be contentious. See WP:GWAR for some background about why this is contentious and why some care is needed here. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:54, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Dubious of birthdate

She seems older than 16 as I write this. She looks maybe 19 or early 20s. The source for the birthdate could be the result of circular referencing, whereby the external source cited as a reference originally got the birthdate, October 8, 1997, from the Wikipedia article and and then an editor here used it as a reference: full circle. News articles subsequently come to Wikipedia for a birthdate and it spreads and spreads across the Internet. People who handle the financial and legal records for her know the truth and if this is indeed a scandal, someday the truth will come out. Maybe TMZ or The Smoking Gun will research this. 5Q5 (talk) 12:17, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

"i love GOD"

Monster boy1: "https://twitter.com/bellathorne - as you can tell by the check this is Bella's official Twitter and she says she loves God. Ergo, she is a Christian.)"

Wow. She says "i love GOD, fam, bellarinas/os, animals, yankees, usc and lakers". No, this does not necessarily mean she is a Christian.

Your assumption is that she believes in the god YHVH who demands blood sacrifice to atone for human sins. This god sent his son, Yeshua, in human form to die as a substitute sacrifice and that by believing in this will result in her "soul" surviving death and going to Heaven. As this is substantially more than "i love GOD", various Christian denominations use various statements of faith that are substantially longer than 3 words and offer religious instruction and sermons for their members, the content of which is not summarized as "love GOD".

I hesitate to mention the preposterous interpretations that could be drawn from "loving" animals, "bellarinas/os", yankees and lakers.

More to the point, this article is subject to the requirements of WP:BLP. Do NOT restore disputed material to such articles without a consensus to do so. - SummerPhD (talk) 04:55, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Father's death

Please change "Her father died in a motorcycle accident in 2007. She disclosed her father's death in a live interview on the local television talk show View from the Bay in December 2008.[55]" to "Her father died in a motorcycle accident in 2007.[55]" There is nothing in the cited article about a TV talk show View from the Bay. Currently

WP:RELTIME. She currently lives in LA ... say since when she lived in LA and avoid the word currently. This is a very basic writing mistake and it goes uncorrected far too often, words like currently, recently, now, etc should be avoided in an encyclopedia. -- 109.79.157.171 (talk) 23:32, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

That's a really good suggestion, thank you. Do you have a source for when she moved to LA? I just spent a few minutes googling it, and I couldn't find anything. -- Irn (talk) 16:37, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
I don't have a source. At the very minimum the word "currently" should be deleted, as it adds no actual information, and more often than not in Wikipedia it isn't even current anymore. It is a vague word that editors/writers should avoid using. -- 109.78.230.54 (talk) 17:07, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
I don't see a source in the article that supports where she has lived or is currently living so just removed mention. I think that info was added based on working on a show with studios there, but that doesn't mean she lived there. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:45, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

Bella Thorne voiced Cora Veralux in the 2016 video game Ratchet and Clank. This is absent from her listed video game voices. Here is a link to IMDb where she is listed in the cast http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5121834/fullcredits/ but a simple google search for the voice cast would prove she was in the game, and she also voiced the same character in the movie but that is already listed under her roles in films. I would like her role in the game to be added for accuracy. Thank you.

Personal life

It seems to me unnecessary to tell their love relationships, since they are not relevant, if that is why we should begin to tell their love of primary and all a lot of nonsense. I think that to talk about the romance of one actor with another, it should be something remarkable like that of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.--Philip J Fry Talk to me 20:03, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Any relationship info listed should be widely and well covered by multiple reliable sources and should show some indication of a long-term nature to show significant. Some gossip source noting that two people attended some event together doesn't show any importance. Transient social life of celebrities is the realm of gossip magazines. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:25, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
What I mean is that Sulkin and Thorne only had a year of relationship. With Posey, he only had months. My point is, why name these relations ?, at some point Thorne contracted matrimony with either ?. Was it associated with any to produce some type of product or film films ?. It seems a bit unnecessary to go naming each person with whom the actress has had a love relationship, because for that are the gossip magazines that take care of that specific issue.--Philip J Fry Talk to me 00:43, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
I agree with Philip J Fry. There's nothing notable about a relationship that lasts a year or a few months, and it strikes me as far too gossip-y for an encyclopedia. I've had a similar discussion on the Ariana Grande talk page, and I'm pretty happy with the consensus we came to on that one. -- Irn (talk) 01:06, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

As user AWCreamsoda previously stated on 5 November 2016 "Bella Thorne voiced Cora Veralux in the 2016 video game Ratchet and Clank. This is absent from her listed video game voices. Here is a link to IMDb where she is listed in the cast http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5121834/fullcredits/ [etc.]"

Given that the IMDB link was not considered adequate, as it "is user generated" and therefore "not considered a reliable source," here is an interview link that seems to confirm quite solidly that Bella Thorne voiced Cora in Ratchet and Clank (2016):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnGqX4Iz00Y (00:04 [Being interviewed about role as Cora] "Cora is a super badass new character, that is a female badass, which you don't usually see, especially in video games." 01:12 [After being asked if she reprises her Ratchet and Clank film role in the video game] "Yes! Yes, I get to be in the video game...they suggested it, which was awesome.")

I hope that this is enough to warrant a correction on the article. }} 108.17.48.46 (talk) 05:26, 13 July 2017 (UTC)

Not done for now: YouTube is also not considered a reliable source, as it, like IMDb, is also user generated. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 21:02, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
