Requested move 4 July 2021[edit]
- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: moved. (closed by non-admin page mover) Lennart97 (talk) 22:02, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
– No evidence that the hurler is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Looking at pageviews [1], the cyclist gets significantly more pageviews, but that's probably a recentism as he's a current sportsman. As such, the DAB page should be moved to the primary page, as the hurler is not a primary topic. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:23, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support It appears that, even before the current Tour de France, the hurler was not even getting the most page views.--Yaksar (let's chat) 06:05, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support, the search term "Ben O'Connor" should be redirected to the DAB page. (But must admit I'm biased as the cyclist is a local boy; I'd even push for him to be the primary topic if the hurler wasn't "regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation"). Meticulo (talk) 09:27, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 14:33, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support the ice hockey player also gets more views (2,803) than this one (2,561) with the cyclist getting 11,466. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:46, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom and Crouch, Swale. Excellent example of there being no primary topic. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 02:28, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
