Cousin or nephew of Ken Wyatt[edit]

The article on Ken Wyatt says that Ben is Ken's nephew while the article on Ken says that Ben is his cousin. So which is it, cousin or nephew. The Shadow Treasurer (talk) 04:44, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to [[1]] Ben is Ken's nephew. The Wyatts are a politically divided family, with his nephew, Labor's Ben Wyatt, being the West Australian shadow treasurer. then acording to [[2]] Ken is Ben's cousin.Ben's cousin Ken Wyatt In another source they are second cousins according to [[3]] His second cousin is Liberal MP Ken Wyatt - the first Aboriginal MP in the Lower House. The ABC, however, has Ben as Ken's nephew [[4]] Ken Wyatt's nephew is State Labor MP Ben Wyatt All a bit confusing really and in need of a more informed reference. Sorry to be of no help to you. It's common amongst Aboriginal people for an older cousin to be referred to as an uncle, so both can be correct. Hack (talk) 05:29, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
