Wrong History[edit]

The History section belongs to the New Islamabad International Airport and not to the current airport. This section is repeated as such on New Islamabad International Airport as well, so i think it should be removed from here. Yasirniazkhan (talk) 13:34, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq Destination[edit]

Prior to Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq's death, his flight was intended to reach this airport which was previously called "Islamabad Airport."[1]

This airport will close on the 18th of April,2018 but the attached Airbase PAF Base Nur Khan will remain operational,so if any major updates happen after the closure please put them on the article of the airbase instead of the one of the now defunct airport — Preceding unsigned comment added by CaptainHK (talkcontribs) 04:04, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
