Review for possible delation[edit]

I agree, this article is very slanted. I'm here to work on the wikify tag, but I'm going to attempt to edit for neutrality. I think a page on this subject should exist, but this one needs a lot of help. Nihola (talk) 02:19, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I rewrote the intro for clarity and neutral tone, added a photo, and a 'see also' section. I tried to edit the body of the text, but we need someone with more knowledge here. I added a couple new sections, to clarify, and took out some really slanted sentences, but the content needs to be rewritten and more factual information provided. As is, the facts would take up maybe one paragraph. I put a note on a couple other related talk pages, in the hope someone will take up the call. Perhaps the small amount of real info here could indeed be merged into a page like Second Great Awakening. Nihola (talk) 05:18, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When was term coined?[edit]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Article rewrite[edit]

The majority of this article lacked inline citations. For this reason, I removed a large amount of material and drastically reduced the size of the article with this edit. While shorter, the article is now completely sourced. Ltwin (talk) 08:05, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
