Editing of Line - Is it up to Wikipedia's Standards?[edit]

Should the following line be edited?

It reads "Now in his 99th year, Sir Bernard, physically very frail, lives in quiet retirement in the English countryside. He is surrounded by music, his books and a vast garden filled with trees he himself planted many decades ago and which he has loved so long."

I think the health should be mentioned, but should the line about loving his trees/garden be left in? It seems like it was written by someone who knows him/family member...? 50.115.184.189 (talk) 13:46, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:BOLD. For something like this, editing prose to be loss poetic, I think you can go ahead and directly edit, with an appropriate edit summary. A discussion and consensus first is probably not needed. Churn and change (talk) 19:22, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
