Page move[edit]

I propose putting Bevo (mascot) at the simpler name of Bevo and moving the article about the beverage to Bevo (beverage). The reasons for this are:

The mascot is by far the more common usage today
Readers are far more likely to be looking for the mascot than the no-longer-produced beverage.

This is a change that would best serve the majority of the readership. If there are no objections I will make the change in a few days. Thanks, Johntex\^talk 16:29, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: No strong opinion either way, but if the page is moved part of the move process needs to be fixing all of the links to go to the correct article. No doubt the most common use of the name in Texas, maybe not in St. Louis :-) Also, I wish to mention a third possibility, of making "Bevo" a disambiguation page. -- Infrogmation (talk) 19:10, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Additional comment: If moved, might I suggest the beverage article be at "Bevo the Beverage" rather than "Bevo (beverage)"? Support per nomination. There are ten entries listed upon the Bevo (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the American beverage from a hundred years ago has retained its historical renown to such a degree that it overshadows the combined notability of the remaining nine entries. Support making disambiguation be the main page.
