Bhrugu[edit]

According to a link on Venkateswara, Bhrigus is the same as Sage Bhrugu. I cannot find anything on google to suggest this. Can someone help? Are they the same sage? Lex Kitten 23:13, 8 November 2007 (UTC) ggqgogf2gh[reply]

Testing the divine trinity[edit]

I have a doubt about this section as there are no references to verify this long story. Bhrigu is a father of shukarcharya and both of them are devotees of mahadev for many reasons. and mahadev is regarded as preeminent in almost anything anywhere in the world.49.244.160.230 (talk) 06:17, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I fully agree with you that the section of testing of divine trinity is not only absurd but a concocted story. The trinity are spiritual Gods, only in energy forms. Testing them by any one is simply non-sense. Section needs to be removed. Sudhirkbhargava (talk) 14:33, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Maharshi Brighu[edit]

The mantra of brighu rishi is ओउमश्री विष्णु रुपाय श्री मह्रर्षि भृग्वे नमो नमः Maharshi Brighu would Visit the Kali As the Last Avtaar of Vishnu As kalki.. The colour of hairs of maharshi[edit]

To Say "brighu was arrogant "Ahankaar" is misleading.. Because Brighu Is Maharshi He is Mehat and Pardhan.. Those who understands sanskrit Must know Him to be Vishnu himself.. So arrogant word is inappropriate.. I can alter the main page. But not doing .. Please update the same.. Remove the line about brighu ji maharaj to be ahankari....
