Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Horsham Air Guard Station. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

FAA Identifier: NXX[edit]

From what I can tell, Biddle is no longer active as an airport, but I'm not able to find any sources to confirm that. The FAA no longer lists NXX as a valid location ID, and all the runways & taxiways have been X'ed out. Does anyone know of a source for this so we may update the article accordingly? ~Ryan (Talk | Contributions) 00:38, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ryan the authoritative document is the FAA's 7350 series, entitled "Location Identifiers". After some digging it appears that the NXX identifier was relinquished when JO 7350.8W (of May 2, 2013) was superseded by JO 7350.8X (of August 22, 2013). See page B-A-49 (519 in the PDF) of 7350.8W, where NXX is still listed, and page B-A-49 (517 in the PDF) of 7350.8X, where it has been removed. – Recoil16 (talk) 09:43, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Recoil16 Thank you for the insight! much appreciated. ~Ryan (Talk | Contributions) 13:34, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
