Fearne Cotton[edit]

I removed the following a couple of months ago:

The TV and Radio presenter Fearne Cotton is related to him as he was her paternal Grandfather's Cousin.

It is back again. Although factually correct, they were rather distantly related, and this article is likely to remain brief. A case of throwing anything in without consideration for significance.

Contained in the infobox anyway, that is surely more than enough. Philip Cross (talk) 12:52, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sir Jimmy Savile Paederast/Paedophile Allegations???[edit]

Since Cotton was the Head of Light Entertainment during the height of Savile's alleged child molestation activity, has he been implicated in the whole mess??? This is an issue that both Wikipedia and the English News media have conveniently ignored: why didn't upper management at the BBC know of Savile's alleged Child abuse??? As the head of Light Programming at the BBC during the 1970s, surely Cotton would have heard rumors if the allegations were true.User:JCHeverly 23:33, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bosses don't hear rumours in the same way. You can't 'gossip' with the boss. Tell him something and he has to act. So your logic is the opposite of what might have happened. But, we will all find out eventually. 92.23.16.145 (talk) 21:33, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
