Artist pics on the page[edit]

There seems to be some dispute on what pics go on the page. It should reflect what artists had the most impact during 2021, whether it be how many songs they placed on the year-end list, or how high those songs ranked, or a combination. I will provide a list of whom Billboard ranked as the top Hot 100 artists in 2021 as guidance (the top 20 ... the whole list is here). Of course, picture availability as well as copyright will affect things, but weight should be given more to artists that rank higher on the list.

SpotemGottem - Beat Box formatting[edit]

The chart lists "SpotemGottem Featuring Pooh Shiesty Or DaBaby" as the Artist for "Beat Box". The Beat Box article notes that Pooh Shiesty is the featured artist on "Beat Box 2", and that DaBaby is the featured artist on "Beat Box 3". There is precedent in the chart for formatting two versions of the same song, from a single, and with an identical artist, in Billboard year-end top 50 singles of 1958, with Topsy II and Topsy I. There is also precedent in several pages, as mentioned in my edit note, for multiple songs sharing the same rank in the chart, but those are all from different artists. I am second-guessing my edit, as it seems this is more like a double A-sided single in terms of how it ought to be formatted, but it's not actually a single, and the artists slightly vary between the two. I think I figured out a better, compromise format, using the title formatting from a double-sided single, but also including both versions of the artist credit. Mister Magotchi (talk) 01:20, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

After that, I found that that's much like how "How Do U Want It" / "California Love" are formatted, with 2Pac featuring K-Ci and JoJo / 2Pac featuring Dr. Dre and Roger Troutman on Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 1996. Mister Magotchi (talk) 16:16, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
