Merge Rose Falcon into this article?[edit]

Billy's daughter Rose Falcon has her own page without references, and I don't believe she is notable enough to have her own page per Wiki:Notability rules. I propose merging her content into this page because Billy's association with Bon Jovi as well as other famous acts make him more notable. LovelyLillith (talk) 06:14, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. Rose is about to have a song released by Faith Hill who is quite "famous". She was also notable enough to be one of the very first names on wiki. When they first released just birth dates of famous singers/actors, Maryblackmon (talk) 16:07, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have a friend who had one of his songs released by a notable Country singer, but my friend would not be considered notable. Notability needs to follow the [[1]] Wiki guidelines to retain this as an independent article. I'm not sure who you are referring to as far as "one of the very first names on Wiki", as Rose's article was created in 2007 and Wiki is older than that, and an old entry doesn't guarantee notability. Nor is the question the notability of Faith Hill, but of Rose Falcon and her career independent of her father. I took a quick look for any kind of reliable third-party articles suitable for Wiki and found no press other than Facebook/MySpace/YouTube and a smattering of emails back and forth about her songs. At present time, I do not see enough to believe she should not be a subheading under her father's article. I could be wrong, which is why I am inviting other seasoned Wiki editors to make comments. This discussion does not seem to have become completely bogged down in dispute just yet, which is what 3O is really for, but neverthless here is my opinion: Rose Falcon is notable enough for her own article. She has a bio at CMT.com[2] that should be cited at her article. While WP is a place where WP:No one cares about your garage band, Rose seems music-industry-connected enough and music-productive enough not to fall in that category, and to merit her own article here. Mention of her in this article should be made only to make clearer her relationship to Billy (the same CMT.com source can be used for that).—WikiDao ☯ (talk) 16:49, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
