Californian Jerky Company Makes Biltong

I just thought this might be interesting. Upon reading the description of the ingredients traditionally used in biltong, I realized it's actually very similar to a jerky I grew up with. Anyone who has been in a grocery store in the SLO county will likely be familiar with the Cattaneo Bros or Ray's Own brands. The decidedly unique flavor profile[1] has been a signature of the brand for at least my own lifetime, but the company was started back in 1947[2]. Point being, there may be some inaccuracy or confusion in the minds of readers that aren't familiar with the flavors imparted by the ingredients themselves as the people of my home county have been eating biltong for decades, just under a different name. My region has definitely had it longer than "approximately 5 years".Jeffman12 (talk) 06:11, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
