Revert to old version[edit]
I'm reverting some of material added in 2006 due to copyright issues. The material seems to have been copied from the MathWorld article of the same name (or from the corresponding article in the CRC concise encyclopedia of mathematics, which amounts to the same thing). Additional sources should be found and the material from them should be included to avoid single source issues.
