Reviewer: WonderBoy1998 (talk · contribs) 14:36, 9 November 2013 (UTC) Hi, I'll be reviewing this article for GA status. It's relatively short so I hope the review doesn't take time. I usually go about reviewing the article section by section gradually. --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 14:36, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Files[edit]

Bg and recording[edit]

  • Some minor fixed I made myself
  • On the Asian leg of Aguilera's Back to Basics Tour during the summer of 2007, Aguilera revealed that her upcoming album would be "short, sweet and completely different" from her previous long-play Back to Basics (2006) - The supporting ref doesn't mention anything like this.
  • What does "Dubsided" mean? --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 15:26, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Composition and critical reception[edit]

  • ""Bionic" was written by Aguilera, Kalenna Harper, John Hill and Switch and produced by Hill and Switch"- Has already been mentioned earlier. I don't see any use in mentioning it again --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 15:26, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Live[edit]

  • Some fixes I made myself.
  • "laser blasts resounded through the audience"- close paraphrasing from the source. Reword this. It doesn't even seem like a necessary detail.
  • "again on The Today Show"- why "again"?
  • "He wrote that the two songs aren't "memorable", however the performance "blew" him away, with "definitely better voice than she was""- Interpreted in a completely wrong sense. Levinson mentioned that the performances did NOT blow him away and that the songs were not memorable, but he praised the quality of Aguilera's voice in comparison to the one she displayed during the MTV awards. ("Neither performance blew me away — ultimately, these just aren’t particularly memorable songs — but she was definitely in better voice than she was on Sunday") Rewrite this.
  • "Simon Vozick-Levinson for Entertainment Weekly was very positive at the "Bionic" and "Not Myself Tonight" part"- not so sure about that. How can he be "very positive" if he didn't even find the performances of the two song memorable? --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 15:26, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • In some refs MTV and Idolator are italicised. Remove the italics. --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 15:26, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
