Deletion objection

I refer to my previous objection... That is... if my studios is not 'noteworthy' then nor are 80% of the other animation/media studios listed on Wiki... such as the ones I listed previously. What constitutes noteability? The actual histories of animation, computer animation and digital animation on Wiki... are indeed very thin, I agree. I also see that Wiki does also just list 'things' too.

Maybe it is deemed that Bird Studios have not contributed enough to the industry, although I would disagree and again refer to the 'balance' of studios that Wiki does represent.

My argument is purely that Bird Studios is as relevant as most of the other studios that you list... excepting the obvious Disney/Pixar (maybe they are the only 'noteable' studios that should be included on Wiki) and that if Bird studios is deleted, then so should 80% of the other studios listed here.

Deletion

This page has questionable notability and i will be prodding it. Please see WP:NOTE and WP:NOT. My reasoning is:

• This page is an article about one specific studio and it's notability is unclear. It also reads like an advertisement. Completely written by the head of the studio and is unreferenced. Adam McCormick 17:46, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Deletion objection

I am the founder of Bird Studios. I have been involved with the Computer animation, tv and film industry since 1983. Everything stated in the Bird Studios page is true and it cross references with Maguffin and Cyberworld etc. Our awards are true and valid and I have been involved with the industry since the days of Bob Abel and 'Sexy Robot'. I feel that Bird Studios page is no more an advertisement than any other single studio listed on Wiki (Animafilm, Animax Entertainment, Blue-Zoo Productions, BONES, Crest Animation Studios,Saerom, smallfilms, The Mill, zagreb Film etc. etc). My company and our work is just as relevant (and referenced) and has contributed enough to the industry to be noted as much as any of those I have listed.

In the world of Computer Animation, commercials and music videos our work is of note WP:NOTE hence the awards and web presence. Bird Studios 10:26, 18 April 2007 (GMT)

I am glad to see you've added references, but please review the Wiki guidelines on how to place references inline. This page needs a lot of work. I am of the opinion that most if not all of these pages should be removed, and it remains to be seen whether this specific studio is of note. Seems to be a vanity piece for the studio, have added some cn tags where references are needed. Also tidied up a ref to give example of suitable format. --Oscarthecat 16:32, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
