Reply from Assamese wikipedia Help Desk[edit]

As per request of Tito Dutta in Assamese wikipedia's Help Desk, I added some external links and image at this article. I changed his surname from Dutta to Dutta, because he write his name so. Will be back with some other sources soon. Bishnu Saikia (talk) 06:53, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No actually few sources/references (not external links) were needed for this: Template:Did you know nominations/Birendra Nath Dutta where the reliability of Saikia's website has been challenged! The only Assamese language source in the Assamese language article seems to be dead. Any other newspaper covering his works? --Tito Dutta (contact) 07:00, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for being too late to join in this discussion. The question about Padma Shri award to B. N. Datta has been solved. Good job by you. I was on hurry that day & therefore I gave the Sources as External links to make them reference later on. And about the Bipuljyoti Saikia's website, it is the one of the best website for Assam related article. He collected and arranged most of the articles from Assam Tribune paper. I will try to find out some other related sources. Thanks. Bishnu Saikia (talk) 14:40, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
