Removed section[edit]

The following is the section removed from the main article as there appears to be some query over the accuracy of the reference quoted by a member of the family.

Francis Bibby's work is very thorough as far as it goes. Unfortunately, there was some information which she misunderstood due to the complex relationships within this family (for example at the time of the ownership of the Blaydes House by the merchant Benjamin Blaydes, there were two other close cousins also named Benjamin). She has also missed the main line of male descent within the family. The line of descent in Burke's Landed Gentry is correct. Family Information prior to 1500 listed in Burke's is incorrect and was due to fraudulent research in the middle 1800s. These lines have now been sorted (you need to follow the major property bequests in the wills to follow the correct lines, and also understand that they did not follow the standard convention of oldest male inheriting everything,) (Mark Blaydes)

section replaced[edit]

I've modified the section but put it back in. I cannot vouch for the accuracyt of the book: but we don't usually delete reference to any book that is factually disputed. (It is still I think the only book on the subject. If it is wrong, then so is the summary linked to on the web at www.aa42.com)
