Previous deletion[edit]

I know that Blitzen Trapper was previously deleted. But I feel they now deserve their own article, given their recent signing to Sub Pop Records, and the wide critical acclaim for their most recent album. (It has received praise from Pitchfork Media, the Village Voice, the London Times, and the Guardian UK, to name a few. Their PR guy has a list of all reviews.) External Link / Professional Review Suggestion[edit]

As an editor at Crawdaddy!, and to comply with COI guidelines, I am not posting the link to this review of Blitzen Trapper's Furr. However, I would like to recommend it on its merits, and hope that an editor will find the time to examine the review and—if he or she sees fit—post it to the external links section, or, if a Furr page is created, to the professional reviews section on that page. I appreciate your time. Crawdaddy! (favorable) [1]

Thanks. I've added it to the Furr article. Mudwater (Talk) 03:31, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Band Members[edit]

"Formed in 2000, the band currently operates as a sextet, with Eric Earley (guitar/vocals), Erik Menteer (guitar/keyboard), Brian Adrian Koch (drums/vocals), Michael VanPelt, (bass), Drew Laughery (keyboards), and Marty Marquis (guitar, keyboards, vocals)."

I see that allmusic was used as a reference to this sentence, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that Eric Earley also plays the keyboards, while Marty Marquis does not. I can't find an actual website that lists each band member's role/instrument, but I've been to their shows several times, and Eric Earley was definitely playing keyboards too. External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 3 external links on Blitzen Trapper. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Adding to History[edit]

Recently, I updated the intro and Members to reflect the band's current lineup. Now, I'm beginning to draft an addition to History for 2017-Present. If anyone wants to collaborate -- especially anyone who's more experienced with editing Wikipedia -- you can contact me, I would appreciate it.

I know it might not be easy for some fans to think about all the changes to the band, but someone finally had to do these edits. Olliesong (talk) 15:28, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I have completed a rough draft of a continuation of the History section. I hope to edit it and post it by the end of this month (Nov 2023).
I would still appreciate help with reviewing and editing the draft for relevancy, clarity, grammar, etc. Please message me soon if you're interested. Olliesong (talk) 22:16, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Update 2: Blitzen Trapper page should be up-to-date as of November 2023. Leave me a comment here or on my user page if anything I added needs clarification, correction, etc. Olliesong (talk) 19:56, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
