Joe Cocker

It seems like the article should at least mention Joe Cocker as one of the prominent blue-eyed soul singers of the 60's (or 70's). --Westwind273 (talk) 00:47, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

Re: SunDawn

Simply reading the talk page, Daryl Hall's rationale, or the definition of the word 'racist' from Britannica's dictionary (-> https://www.britannica.com/topic/racism) gets a person to the conclusion that "blue-eyed soul" is, in fact, a racist and pejorative term. It's not even under the surface.

You asking how "blue-eyed soul" is racist is like someone asking why is water wet or the sky blue. It's such a ridiculous, child-like tactic to play dumb and feign ignorance in this way.

I wont get in an edit war even though several people on this wiki page have expressed their disapproval of 1.) Even having this wiki page exist as it inherently stokes racial tension&segregation (which is, you know...a bad thing) and 2.) There's no shortage of douchebags that will revert any edit they don't like, they'll do this like you did by not going to the talk page first, not having an actual discussion with fellow editors, unilaterally enforcing their will onto the page. It's a futile battle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.10.140.224 (talkcontribs) 07:16, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
