No reference included for Weider's original Canadian settlement[edit]

The article states that "The entire family emigrated to Canada later that year, settling in Peace River, Alberta."

However, there is no reference included here, and I have found conflicting statements online, which is problematic:

Blue Mountain storybook PDF states that Weider moved to British Columbia before moving to Quebec, and subsequently, Collingwood.

Canadian Ski Hall of Fame & Museum article agrees that Weider lived in Peace River, and makes no mention of British Columbia.

Was (Gordon) Peter Campbell a Canadian Senator?[edit]

Upon further research, it appears that the "Peter Campbell" being referred to (only once) as Weider's partner in starting the resort is Gordon Peter Campbell, a business man and lawyer from Toronto, who later became a Canadian Senator. This seems like interesting and relevant information!

I'm not sure why, but he is never called by his first name "Gordon" anywhere other than his own Wikipedia article. I can't find much else confirming that Peter Campbell and Gordon Peter Campbell are actually the same person, other than brief mentions of Gordon's partial ownership of Blue Mountain, which could even be a coincidence (though unlikely).

Update: I've also noticed Campbell mentioned as a Senator in the following article from the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame: https://skimuseum.ca/honoured-members/jozo-weider/

Therefore, I'm confident in this connection and I've linked to Gordon Peter Campbell's own Wikipedia article, and updated the old and outdated citation to the Hall of Fame (non-existent PDF), to this new reference. Chaines4 (talk) 20:30, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
