Bolding #1's[edit]

Please stop bolding the #1's -- it violates WP:CHARTS. Ten Pound Hammer(((ActionsWords))) 18:57, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Album covers?[edit]

Can I ask why the album covers have been removed from this article when they are still intact on the main Bon Jovi article and on each of the albums' articles? DVD Smith 19:08, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Best Of Bon Jovi: Tokio Road[edit]

This album isn't official. I never heard for it, nobody did. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.2.117.164 (talk) 18:52, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This albums sales are only for USA, but it writes "worldwide sales". I will Change the numbers into worldwide sales.

Album sales[edit]

Please stop writing wrong sales. Keep the Faith has sold in 15 million copies, New Jersey in 18 million, not more, not less. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.2.126.66 (talk) 17:51, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, source it then... Read WP:NOR. Funeral 17:54, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- There has been so many edits to album sales over the past couple of weeks and they are always different! To stop all the confusion, whoever posts new sales figures should reference the source in which the figures were gathered from. It will help everyone out a lot ;) 150.101.144.13 (talk) 09:41, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Complete discography??[edit]

I'd like to start to collect an information of "complete" Bon Jovi discography with special releases and limited editions and all that stuff included too (no bootlegs). To my mind the important information is title, year, track list, A and B side or similar information, low resolution images of front and back covers (if possible), "record company publishing number" (like VER-CD-1 -number), country, and if limited or somehow special, the information why it is that way. To my mind, sales numbers in business sense are not interesting numbers on this list.

Should it be on this page or on the separate page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.154.102.33 (talk) 10:37, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Separated Album discigraphy[edit]

I'd like to suggest that we separate the whole album charts and certifications into another page. I know that there is a page called Extended Bon Jovi Album Discography, but I don't think it is a good idea. We can make a whole new page including Extended Bon Jovi Album Discography page and current album charts and certifications on Bon Jovi discography.--Langdon (talk) 19:17, 1 February 2008 (UTC)i7114080[reply]

Singles Charts[edit]

Ive noticed that there are quite a lot of US charts in the Singles Discography table. The WP:CHARTS page states "Billboard component charts should not be used in the tables, unless the song fails to enter the main chart, but appears on an airplay or sales chart.". If we to stick to these guidelines, than the US Country, US Digital and US Pop 100 charts should all be deleted from the Singles Discrography table. Savvi72 (talk) 08:56, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Original songs appear on Pokemon "Original Theme Song"* Disorderlies (1987) "Edge of a Broken Heart"* A Very Special Christmas (October 1990) "I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas" Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man (1991) "Wanted Dead or Alive" Trigger Happy TV (2001) "Wanted Dead or Alive" A Very Special Christmas, Vol. 2(October 1992) "Please Come Home for Christmas" The Cowboy Way (May 1994) "Good Guys Don't Always Wear White"* Armageddon (1998) "Mister Big Time" EDtv (March 1999) "Real Life"* Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle "Livin' On A Prayer"* Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (March 2004) "Wanted Dead or Alive" Wild Hogs (2007) "Wanted Dead or Alive", "Lost Highway"

dead or alive[edit]

does anyone know if parts of dead or alive video were filmed in Indianapolis,In? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.34.50.111 (talk) 05:13, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sales and certifications[edit]

not a single certification or sales figure in the articles is referenced so all are going to be deleted in 7 days if none are provided.... Mister sparky (talk) 18:15, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Charting Countries[edit]

Why has someone removed Japan and Finland from the charting countries in the album section and placed France in there? The French charts for Bon Jovi are incomplete, unlike both Japan and Finland. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.45.241.62 (talk) 16:57, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edge of a Broken Heart[edit]

People keep including "Edge of a Broken Heart" as a single because it charted at #38 on the US Airplay Chart in 1987. However this has never been sourced. The single will keep being deleted by users until it is reliably sourced. Savvi72 (talk) 17:28, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mysterious Blood on Blood[edit]

On the Oricon website, the album Blood on Blood peaked at #66 in Japan. Langdon (talk) 07:18, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Bon Jovi proposal[edit]

I have proposed the creation of a WikiProject Bon Jovi here. If you would like to join or give input, please comment there. Thanks! Toa Nidhiki05 19:50, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional/Bonus releases[edit]

Can we keep all promotional releases in the 'Other Releases' section? It just makes it much clear to see what are the major releases from the band and what aren't. This includes bonus discs, promotional releases and re-releases. It would be messy and confusing if ALL releases were put in the main section, especially if they only charted in a single country. Savvi72 (talk) 09:16, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All those albums and promotional releases that didn't chart belong to the 'Other Releases' section, but to make the discography and chart history as complete and correct as possible for the selected countries it makes sense to list the rare/selected territories releases under a 'Other charted albums' section, even if they only charted in a single country. Many of those albums charted quite high and are part of the countries chart histories, so it would be stupid to list them only in the 'Other Releases' section where that information would be hard to find.
Also all those singles that were released as proper singles (retail sales, not promotional) belong in the Singles discography section, even if they were only released in Australia, Japan or only few European countries. Those singles are still a part of the singles discography, as is also proper digital singles releases such as the iTunes release of "This Is Our House" which was released as a digital single release in USA and Canada (iTunes - Music - This Is Our House - Single by Bon Jovi). Even Bon Jovi's official site list that one as a single release as the most recent release by the band.
Kai81 (talk) 18:12, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ah ok. I like the idea of the other charted albums section, now that all the minor releases are in there. I just thought it was a little bit messy having country exclusive albums in the album section, then an 'other charted albums' section and then yet 'Other releases' album section. This is much better. Thanks! Savvi72 (talk) 04:20, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Burning Bridges debate[edit]

  • This is an ongoing inconsistency within the site's Bon Jovi pages, as it is listed as a compilation album on the album's page as well as on the Bon Jovi discography page. These inconsistencies further make the following album This House is Not For Sale inaccurate as the band's studio album count is now off. This is something that I can see has been corrected multiple times, and discussed on various talk pages here on Wikipedia, and yet some stubborn editor is continuously reverting it back, though they have not done so with sources/references to their edits. This is not in accordance with Wikipedia's guidelines of edits like these in which there is a dispute over accuracy. Where the editors have shown that it is a studio album, shouldn't that be the case with this edit? There have yet-to-be any editors reverting/changing the album to a 'compilation album' citing their changes with references and yet there are multiple for the contrary. In this debate, shouldn't references/resources/citations from multiple sources trump the OPINION-based edits here?

This Left Feels Right - compilation or album?[edit]

Why is This Left Feels Right among compilations? It is an album with new songs (versions of songs) none of which were released previously. Compilation is defined as a collection of previously released material, which does not apply here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.245.200.41 (talk) 09:22, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
