Requested move[edit]

As there are more titles named Bouncer in comics, propose that the article be moved per the Wikipedia:Naming conventions (comics) guideline, either to The Bouncer (comics) or Bouncer (Fox Features), allowing this namespace to become a comics DAB. Anyone have strong feelings and good reason why not? Murghdisc. 03:01, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are there more comics titles named Bouncer? I can't think of any, and I couldn't find any searching Wikipedia. Konczewski 01:50, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There is at least one, the Jodorowsky/François Boucq series simply titled Bouncer, that will imminently have a WP article of its own. At any rate, isn't this series named The Bouncer, like The Spirit? Murghdisc. 03:32, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
True, but then isn't Batman usually referred to as The Batman? Not that I oppose your suggestion. I'm okay with renaming to "Bouncer (Fox Feature Syndicate)" or something similar. How do we make it happen? Konczewski 13:10, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Batman maybe not as commonly as The Spirit. I'm not sure about The Bouncer. Once it feels like consensus after a while, it's an easy pagemove and a few link amends. Murghdisc. 15:29, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It does appear that he was called "The" Bouncer; that's how it appears on the cover. I vote for "The Bouncer (Fox Feature Syndicate)" the article's new name. Konczewski 15:43, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That works for me. I'll do the changes then. Murghdisc. 16:32, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:BouncerFoxFeature.jpg[edit]

Image:BouncerFoxFeature.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
