Impact Digital Media Championship six-way match[edit]

Just to further add to a point that was incorrectly edited back to an incorrection, the Impact Digital Media Championship was officially confirmed to take place on the Before The Honor Pre-Show in a six-way match. Six single round qualifying matches matches are being held to confirm who will be taking part in the Digital Media Championship six-way Match.

Impact Wrestling themselves confirmed this to be the fact straight after announcing the Championship's creation on the 30th September episode of Impact Wrestling, and several other wrestling sites following up on this confirmation. In an article by Impact Wrestling introducting the Championship they are quoted as saying, 'Two weekly matches including four as part of Wrestle Week will culminate with the first-ever Digital Media Champion being crowned at IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest pay-per-view event of the year, Bound For Glory.' thus confirming it as a six-way match. PWInsider also had a follow up confirmation from IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice-President Scott D’Amore saying that the match is infact a six-way as well as being intergender.[1][2]StarStingster (talk) 21:05, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair, the Impact website didn't say anything about a six-way - it only mentioned a single elimination tournament, which usually means 8 wrestlers, then down to 4 in the semifinals, then 2 in the finals. Now the PWInsider reference - which I was unaware of - was quite clear about it being a six-way, which is good enough for me...it's a six-way. Vjmlhds (talk) 00:33, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
