It has been reported that Michael Hedegaard Lyng has resigned as CFO of Brodrene Hartmann to become the CFO of NKT Holding. Tom Wrensted, currently the V.P. Finance of Hartmann North America, will be his successor.

Importance of Topic[edit]

Hartmann is mentioned frequently in Danish media and the company does have some references to it, or directly dealing with it, in other publications (see 'Brodrene Hartmann' in amazon.com). With its involvement and awards in sustainable development, the company does exhibit a level of importance.

New CEO[edit]

Effective October 1, 2006, Hartmann's CEO will be Peter Arndrup Poulsen, as Asger Domino resigned earlier this year.

Sustainable Development[edit]

Brodrene Hartmann is a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and joined the UN Global Compact in September 2003. The company also received the EU Commission's "Management Award for Sustainable Development" in 2000 for creating the best global lifecycle-based management model for sustainable development in Europe.

Ranked as a 'Start' article as it requires additional information, such as company history. Also ranked as 'Low' priority as it is more of a specialized topic (business - packaging).
